TIRUMALA: Senior Congress leader and MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Sunday said that the demand for a separate Telangana State had gained support of all residents of the region, if the two lakh majority with which TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao won in the Karimnagar parliamentary polls was any indication. Talking to mediapersons, Rao said that the State Government should initiate steps to resolve the issue amicably. He also said that in the present political circumstances the controversy over a second State Re-organisation Committee was irrelevant as it is evident that the Telangana sentiment was blowing strong in the region.
