HYDERABAD: After a long gap, the meeting of Telangana Regional Congress Coordination Committee (TRCCC) will be held in the city on December 30. The meeting assumes significance as it is being organised in the backdrop of the Karimnagar byelection results and varying views expressed by the party leaders over the constitution of the second States' Reorganisation Commission to study the Telangana issue. According to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K. Keshava Rao, AICC general secretary and in-charge of the State Digvijay Singh will be invited to attend the meeting. TRCCC convener G. Chinna Reddy will preside over. In a chat with reporters here on Sunday, Dr. Rao said several issues including the fallout of the Karimnagar byelection results would be discussed.
`Medho Madhanam'
About the party's `Medho Madhanam' (brainstorming session) to be held here on January 4 and 5, he said the focus would be on land distribution launched by the Government. But, the meeting would comprise open debates on a many issues where members could air their views. The meeting would undertake a midterm review of Government programmes and their impact on the people. It would also discuss how the bureaucracy was responding to implementation of these programmes.
