Hyderabad: DXI CC defeated Vinayak Friends by eight wickets in the final of the Jai Bhagwathi trophy cricket tournament ehre on Sudnay. Rohit Gpta of the winin etam was adjudged Man of the Match. Man of the series was Manoj Soni, Best Batsman was Aditya Agarwal, Best Bowler was Shyam Goel and Best Fielder Chetan Bansal. The score: Vinayak Friends CC 189 for eight (Rajender 35, Manoj Soni 34, Naveen Sanghi 45, Vipin Adokia four for 40) lost to DXI CC 190 for two (Rohit Gupta 88 not out, S.Jain 64 not out, Aditya Agarwal 32).
SRTS II (Hyd) in final
SRTS II, Hyderabad defeated Corporate Centre team from Gurgaon by five wickets in a semifinals of the Powergrid Corporation of India's inter-regional cricket tournament here on Sunday. In the other semifinal NRTS I, Delhi beat SRTS II, Bangalore by two wickets. The scores (semifinals): Corporate Centre team Gurgaon 143 (Mahesh Kumar 49) lost to SRTS II, Hyderabad 144 for five (A.V. Varaprasada Rao 54). Man of the Match: Varaprasada Rao. SRTS II, Bangalore 206 for five (N. Gopala Krishnan 89, Pradhan 65) lost to NRTS I, Delhi 208 for eight (Manoj Gokru 42, Gautam 46). Man of the Match: Gautam.
