Vivek shines

An all-round performance by Vivek (58 and three for 24) was the highlight of GSK MHSS's seven-wicket win over Kambar GHSS in a Nagapattinam DCA Schools league match in Mayiladuthurai.

At Mayiladuthurai: Kambar GHSS 131 in 22.1 overs (Vivek three for 24) lost to GSK MHSS 132 for three in 33.3 overs (Vivek 58, Jugal 30).

At Nagapattinam: Natarajan Damayandhi HSS 132 in 24.2 overs (Manivannan 31, Rajasekar 26, Ratheesh four for 24 incl. hat-trick) bt St. Antony's HSS 89 in 22.1 overs (Prathap 29, Sukunthan four for 11).

Irruppu CC

Sivakumar took four for 28 as Irruppu CC defeated Blue Moon CC by 55 runs in a Cuddalore DCA first division league match in Neyveli on Sunday.

The scores: Irruppu CC 191 in 38.1 overs (Arivarasan 52) bt Blue Moon CC 136 in 32.1 overs (Suresh Kumar 41, Sivakumar four for 28).
