CUTTACK: After raiding several places in some of the major towns of Orissa in the last four days in search of B.H. Mohanty, a team of police from Rajasthan left the State empty handed on Saturday night. The police team, comprising a sub-inspector and two constables of Vaishalinagar police station of Jaipur, arrived here on Wednesday looking for Orissa DGP B.B. Mohanty's son who jumped parole and had reportedly gone missing. B.H. Mohanty, a 22-year-old former management student was serving a seven-year jail term in Jaipur for raping a German girl. He was released on 15-day parole to meet his ailing mother but has not reported back to jail although, he was supposed to do so on December 4. According to the Cuttack police, the team from Rajasthan raided some places in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Puri, Rourkela and Sambalpur. They also went to the DGP's house thrice but could not meet him. The Cuttack police who were asked to provide assistance to the visiting team extended their support, said a senior policeman of Cantonment police station here.
