HYDERABAD:
A three-year-old boy who went missing since Thursday afternoon was traced in Khammam town.
Nursery student A. Akshit was playing in front of his house at Gautamnagar in Malkajgiri when a mentally challenged woman forcibly took him away and fled from the scene.
The incident came to light when Akshit's mother Sujatha called out for him. On suspicion, she came out and searched for the boy only to realise that he was missing.
After a complaint was lodged at Malkajgiri police station, the police circulated photographs of the boy to all police stations in the State.
On Saturday, an autorickshaw driver informed the police that the boy was in `possession' of a woman in Khammam.
A special police team was deputed to bring the child back to the city.
