Makeover for Taj Residency

HYDERABAD: Taj-GVK, an associate of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCT, Taj chain of hotels), has announced plans for investing Rs. 100 crores for upgradation of Taj Residency, renamed Taj Deccan, involving among other things, addition of 180 rooms, new restaurants.

The company has invested Rs. 20 crores for transforming its existing facility giving a new look to lobby, lobby lounge and reception. IHCT chief operating officer (business hotels) Jamshed S. Daboo said on Sunday that the group was coming up with a new 200-room five-star hotel in Begumpet.
