Talk on space

programme

Chairman of ISRO and Secretary, Department of Space, G. Madhavan Nair will deliver a lecture on Space programme for societal applications on Wednesday at KEB Engineers' Association, SJM Building, 28, Race Course Road. The talk has been organised by Karnataka Electricity Board Engineers' Association as a part of 21st silver jubilee commemoration lecture. Minister for Power H.D. Revanna and Director of KPTCL and Chairman of Escoms Bharath Lal will participate in the function.

Prathiba Puraskar

The Karnataka Veerashaiva Vidyabhivrudhi Samsthe will give away Prathiba Puraskar and students' scholarships to deserving students on Wednesday. A press release said the former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishath G.S. Siddalingaiah will take part in the function to he held at Sri Basaveshwara Free Students' Hostel, next to Vijayanagar Telephone Exchange.

Eye screening camp

Dr. M.C. Modi Charitable Eye Hospital will conduct a free eye screening camp for diabetes on December 31. The camp will be conducted on the hospital premises on Dr. M.C. Modi Road, MLP Layout.
