HSBC India's gesture to NGOs
CHENNAI:
To mark the occasion of its credit card division crossing the two million credit card milestone, HSBC India has made a contribution of Rs. 20 lakh to two NGOs, that is, the Yuva Parivarthan project of the Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA) and Laadli, a Population First project working for the education and the welfare of the girl child, both of whom received Rs. 10 lakh each along with a specially designed card. Bobby Mehta, CEO, HSBC U.S., and Naina Lal Kidwai, Group General Manager and Country Head, HSBC India, handed over the cheques to the NGOs, says a release.
