SSA asks teachers to enhance children's learning abilities

KADAPA: Assistant Project Coordinator of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) P.V. Lakshmaiah on Tuesday called upon teachers to enhance children's learning capabilities.

Addressing an awareness meeting at his office here, he said that the district resource persons (DRP) were appointed to monitor implementation of first phase of the Children's Learning Abilities Programme for students from first to seventh standards in all mandals in the district.

Mandal Educational Officers have been instructed to relieve the DRPs for monitoring the programme in five primary school and one upper primary and high school in each mandal.

Urging DRPs to follow prescribed norms, he urged them to give proper advice to teachers.

Kadapa MEO Krishnaiah, Chief Monitoring Officer Rajendra Prasad, Coordinator of Alternate Schools Sudhakar and teachers participated.
