Although authorities have taken care to fill up the potholes and keep the city clean during the Malabar Shopping Festival, little could be done to regulate traffic. Drivers continued to flout traffic rules. Traffic signal systems to be introduced at Erahnipalam Junction may bring in some semblance of order.
