The double sink option is extremely useful for couples who are always on the move. One sink is generally mounted higher for the male counterpart.

This allows both partners to use the space at the same time when in a hurry or simply gives them an opportunity for conversation.

In this case, there is added storage for items that tend to clutter up valuable counter space below.

Metal combinations

Metal bathroom sinks too are a popular trend. Homeowners are choosing designs in brass, stainless steel, chrome and copper to give their bathroom sink a contemporary feel.

These metals can also be used in combination with glass or porcelain elements for innovative design combinations.

Bathroom sink bowls can be installed on any solid base, creating endless options for bathroom designs.

Any piece of furniture can be used to support a bathroom sink, including low bureaus, small tables and cabinets.

Plumbing is concealed in the top portion of the furniture piece, leaving the rest of the unit usable for storage.
