KOLLAM: Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has announced Rs.100 crore development package in the four tsunami-hit grama panchayats of Alapad in Kollam district, Arattupuzha and Anthakaranazhi in Alappuzha district and Edavanakad in Ernakulam district. He made the announcement while inaugurating a meeting on Tuesday to commemorate the second death anniversary of 131 persons who were killed in the tsunami at Alapad. The Chief Minister also announced an additional Rs.1 lakh each as relief to the family of those killed in the tsunami.
