KOCHI: Pachalam Cricket Club and Globstar Telecom posted victories over Ernakulam Cricket Club and Mattancherry YCA respectively in the sixth EDCA-N.S. Krishnan memorial under-17 cricket league at the Palace Oval, Tripunithura, on Tuesday. In other matches at the BPCL-KRL Oval, Ambalamugal, Young Challengers Cricket Club and Aluva Cricket Club defeated Century Cricket Club and Cochin Refineries School respectively. The scores: Pachalam CC 181 for six in 30 overs (Ahamed Faizal 40) bt Ernakulam CC 87 in 19 overs (Ojo George five for 20, Ahamed Faizal four for 15). Globstar Telecom 213 in 30 overs (Alan George 41, Neerav four for 31) bt MYCA 71 in 26.5 overs (Alan George six for 20). Young Challengers CC 259 for five in 30 overs (Bibin Raj 59, Sajith Kumar 55, Sadam A. Das 44) bt Century CC 148 in 24. 4 overs. Cochin Refineries School 123 in 25. 3overs (M.R. Rajeev four for 16) lost to Aluva CC 124 for three in 17 .2 overs (Binoop P. Babu 48 not out).
