Dharamsala: The winter session of Himachal Assembly began on a stormy note at the new building here on Tuesday. There was bedlam in the House as BJP members entered the well demanding discussion on corruption and the Speaker adjourned the House for the day. Later, addressing media persons, Opposition leader Prem Kumar Dhumal claimed that his party never wanted to walk out of the House, but wanted a discussion on the most prevalent issue of corruption including the CPMT scam. He criticised the holding of winter session in an `unfinished' building which had come up in a hurry. Stating that quality has been compromised in the construction of the House, he said CPWD guidelines have not been followed. However, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh blamed the BJP for creating chaos in the House and fleeing from discussions. Earlier, the Chief Minister received praise from his party men for shifting the Vidhan Sabha to the lower areas of the State.
