India finishes fifth

NEW DELHI : Indian eves finished a creditable fifth after beating Uzbekistan 77-61 (half-time: 47-37) in the last league match of the 2nd FIBA Asia young women's basketball championship in Singapore on Tuesday.

Raspreet Sidhu scored 25 points while Kiranjeet (14) and Rashmi (13) were the other scorers for India.
