Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: Wing Commander Harikrishnan and Group Captain Adyantayya of the Begumpet Air Force Station met Adilabad Joint Collector A. Dinakar Babu on Tuesday urging him to prevent encroachment on the aerodrome at Adilabad.

The two Air Force officers had arrived here in a helicopter as part of the routine inspection of the airstrip at Adilabad. Mr. Dinakar Babu told The Hindu that the officers hoped that the aerodrome could be developed as a training facility in future for which it was essential that the encroachments be curbed.
