MANGALORE: Kavu Panchalingeshwara Nagamandala Seva Samithi, Kankanady B. Bajal, will organise "Astapavitra Nagamandalotsava" (serpent worship) on Kavu Panchalingeshwara temple premises here on December 31, a release said. As a precursor to "Nagamandalotsava" different religious programmes will begin from Wednesday. "Torana" and "ugrana muhurtha", "vastu and prakara bali" and "vastu homa" will be performed on Wednesday. "Naga prathisthe" and "ashlesha bali" will be held on Thursday. In the evening a yakshagana bayalata "Chakreshwara Pareekshitha" will be performed by Ramachandra Kripaposhita Yakshagana Mandali, Hosanagara, the release said. "Bhagya Suktha Homa" and "Chandika Homa" will be performed on December 29. Lavanya and Sudhindra will present a saxaphone concert on that day. "Shatarudrabhisheka", "Rudra Yaga", and "Maha Ranga Pooje" will be performed on December 30. Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa will attend a religious function ahead of "Nagamandalotsava" which will begin at 11 p.m.
