Power cut schedule notified

HYDERABAD: Faced with a worst power crisis leading to protests from farming community all over the State, the Government has announced power cuts in urban areas from Wednesday onwards. The load relief schedule for Ranga Reddy district has been officially announced on Tuesday.

Power distribution corporation officials said care was taken to ensure that each area had a load relief time of two hours each in areas falling in Ranga Reddy district. However, the Metro Zone officials clarified that no load relief was being planned in the twin cities.
