Exciting offers at hotels for New Year's Eve

Staff Reporter

Time to have fun with good food and music

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad will be an exciting place to be in on the New Year's Eve, or at least that is what, all hotels seem to be promising. Apart from the usual DJ tunes, the city has lined up some serene dinners and exciting opportunities to win prizes too.

"The trend in Hyderabad is changing. Wild 80s and 90s have given way to sobriety as people have become more conscious about their well-being. They are cautious about what they eat and drink. Moreover, occasions like New Year's Eve are also times for family bonding," says Ravinder Singh, Food & Beverages Manager, Golconda Hotel.

However G. Srinivas, Sales Manager, Green Park, says, "Hyderabad today has two kinds of crowd -- young and vibrant, couples and families -- who would like to go for decent programmes with some music, entertainment and good food. "

Arrangements

Making it an evening to remember, hospitality industry has made some elaborate arrangements comprising theme nights, buffet dinners, post-midnight dinners, shows hosted by celebrities and the much awaited, unlimited dancing on foot tapping numbers played by local, national and international DJs.

"People here are into finer things of life and we are making sure that those expectations are met with our arrangements," says Nischint Pathania, Food & Beverages manager, Taj Krishna.

While, Green Park's USP is gifts worth Rs. four to five lakhs starting from gift vouchers to written air-tickets to various destinations, Taj Krishna has also lined up children's New Year party. Golkonda Resorts and Spa located at Gandipet, will be organising `Mardigras Nite', based on French wine festival giving a carnival ambience with large cutouts and effigies.

However, all this comes at a good price!
