Nature camp at Papikonda Wildlife Sanctuary from Dec. 29

HYDERABAD:
WWF-India is organising a nature camp at Papikonda Wildlife Sanctuary from December 29 to 31.
The sanctuary spreads over three districts -- Khammam, East Godavari and West godavari -- extending over 591 sq. km.
The nature camp is essentially to sensitise nature lovers and create awareness about the rich and diverse landscape and the catastrophe threatening its existence, according to Farida Tampal, director, State office, WWF-India.
The sanctuary nestled in the heart of Eastern Ghats and close to the river could be a nice getaway for city dwellers to usher in the New Year. Those interested may contact WWF office on Ph: 23533998 or 9393009251.
The camp is open to all, the release added.
