Cultural fete from today

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Tourism has made elaborate arrangements to enable tourists from all parts of the world to usher in the New Year in God's Own Country. Cultural programmes will be held on the Samudra beach near KTDC's Hotel Samudra from December 27 to 31.

The programmes would be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.Contemporary dance would be staged on December 27, instrumental ensemble on December 28, classical dance on 29, `Shinkarimelam' and Theyyam on 30 and Ghazal on the 31. The Samudra park and adjoining areas will be illuminated.
