Four injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: At least four persons were injured on Tuesday night after they were hit by a car driven by one Rajan, 33, who was drunk., the police said. According to the police the car hit six vehicles parked along the road at Mancaud by about 10 p.m. Two pedestrians Sumesh, 16 and Shaiju, 18 sustained injuries. Two others, yet to be identified, who were riding a bicycle were also injured. Local people finally intercepted the car and beat up Rajan. who was later admitted to the Medical College Hosptial. The police have registered a case. — Staff Reporter

Parking regulation

Thiruvananthapuram: Parking of two- and four-wheelers on the parking lot in front of the Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station has been suspended from Thursday noon to Sunday morning. According to the railways, the passengers should park the vehicles during the period at the second entrance of the railway station at Power House road. The parking of vehicles has been regulated at Thampanoor to take up maintenance work and improvements of the parking lot. — Staff Reporter
