BSNL adalat

Kochi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) will hold an adalat in January for settlement of landline and cellphone bill dues of more than two years. Discounts from 10 to 20 per cent will be offered depending on the pending period. Defaulters in Ernakulam and Idukki districts and Lakshadweep may send applications on or before January 5 to Chief Accounts Officer (TRA) Urban - I, Office of PGMT, BSNL, Kochi - 682 031 (ph: 0484 236 0855 / 235 0888).

Protest march

Kochi: Communist Party of India Marxist-Leninist (Red Flag) workers took out a march to the city corporation office on Tuesday, in protest against the acceptance of Asian Development Bank loan under the conditions laid out by the bank. The march was inaugurated by party district secretary Charles George.
