Nitesh stuns Prajwal

BANGALORE: P. Nitesh stunned the top seed H.G. Prajwal 6-1, 6-1 and entered the boys' under-16 singles semifinals of the Mahila Seva Samaja AITA Talent Series (under-14 & under-16) tennis championship at the club courts here on Wednesday.

Rachita Sarda, the top seed in both the girls' under-14 and under-16 singles, advanced to the semifinals and also bagged the girls' under-16 doubles title partnering M.P. Nitha.The results: (Karnataka unless specified):

Prajwal 6-1, 6-1; Vinod Gowda bt Sharan Patil 1-6, 6-1, 6-1; S. Kamal bt Vishnu 6-2, 6-4; V. Pranav bt Rashien Samuel 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
