BANGALORE: Delhi's Rashid Khan moved a step closer to the title with a one over 72 in the `A' section of the Sunfeast all-India junior and sub-junior golf tournament on the penultimate day here on Thursday. The course is playing to par 71 with the strokes for par on the first hole reduced to three. Rashid consolidated his lead to six strokes at the end of the third round over Udayan Mane. Category `B' had Kolkata's Rommel Majumdar holding on to the lead but Bangalore's duo of Chikkarangappa and Khalin Joshi look set to make it tough in the final round. The scores: Category `A' (15-17 years): 1. Rashid Khan (75, 70, 72) 217; 2. Udyan Mane (76, 74, 73) 223; 3. Amanjyot Singh (79, 77, 71) and Rahul Bakshi (80, 70, 77) 227 each. Category `B' (13-14 years): 1. Rommel Majumdar (74, 77, 79) 230; 2. Chikkarangappa (82, 85, 76) 233; 3. Khalin Joshi (78, 83, 73) 234; 4. Raghav Bhandari (77, 83, 79) 239. Category `C' (11-12 years): 1. Virat Badhawar (78,76,74) 228; 2. Ashbeer Saini (74, 80, 79) 233; 3: Ankur Chaddha (81, 80, 78) and Rahul Ravi (82, 80, 77) 239 each. Category `D' (Under-10): 1. Akash Srinivasan (84, 79) 163; 2. Vidit Singh (81, 90) 171; 3. Piyush Sangwar (88, 86) 174; 4. Honey Baisoya (90, 85) 175.
