HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court directed the State Government on Thursday to produce the records pertaining to the appointment of two officers to probe the affairs of Margadarsi Financiers by Tuesday. These orders were passed by the Division Bench comprising Chief Justice G.S. Singhvi and Justice C. V. Nagarjuna Reddy while dealing with the writ petition filed by Margadarsi Financiers and others. During the course of the arguments, the Bench wanted to know the specific rights of the petitioners that were infringed upon. It sought evidence to show that the right to freedom of press was under attack.
