Mumbai: Concerned over the manner in which Munaf Patel's injury has been handled by the Indian team's support staff, especially physio John Gloster, the Cricket Board has dashed off a letter to find out the update on the pacer. ``A letter has been sent to Gloster seeking an update on Patel regarding his (ankle) injury,'' said BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty on Thursday. But the fact that a letter has been sent to the physio is a clear indication that the BCCI officials are not happy with the way Patel's injury has been managed. The right-arm paceman injured his ankle during the one-day series preceding the ongoing Test and has mostly been an onlooker on the tour, barring an appearance in a two-day practice game arranged hastily between the first and second Tests.
