South African coach furious

Durban: South African coach Mickey Arthur was left fuming after the stoppages in play cost his side valuable time on the third day of the second Test.

Arthur said here on Thursday, "There was a ball-change that took nearly 20 minutes. Then, there were interruptions for injuries. We lost so much time due to a power failure. And only eight balls could be bowled on resumption."

Skipper Graeme Smith was seen arguing with the umpires when the players left the ground for the last time and Arthur said his team should keep its emotions under check. "We had a target of a lead of 200 by close today. Let's see how it goes, the Durban weather is unpredictable during this part of the year. The first session on Friday will be critical."— Special Correspondent
