Clarification

In response to the report `Genetic Clinic at Gandhi Hospital' that appeared in these columns on Thursday, Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Diseases Director A. Jyothy clarified that a genetic clinic has been started at Government Maternity Hospital apart from Niloufer Hospital.

A similar facility is proposed for Gandhi Hospital and discussions are being held with officials to start the clinic soon, Dr. Jyothy said.
