A very hard fall indeed

What happens when you become the talk of the town and stinking rich overnight? For a majority success goes to the head. When the success is taken forward and there is an alliance with Telugu cinema's biggest star's family, one is bound to be on cloud nine. But the fall from there can be hard, very hard. Ask Udaykiran, who has been literally shunted out of Telugu cinema after the infamous breaking of his alliance with Chiranjeevi's daughter. Films became far and few. Even his mentor Teja could not help matters.

Actor Prakash Raj came to his help making a Tamil film `Poi' (`Abaddham' in Telugu) with maestro K. Balachander wielding the megaphone. But the film too could not see the light of the day reportedly at the behest of `powerful forces' of Telugu and Tamil industries.

Finally after almost a year when a truce was eventually made, the film was released in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Unfortunately for him, the film bombed. If only he knew how to handle success instead of leaving it to unscrupulous personal managers and yes, not forget his modest beginnings.
