Valuables stolen from house

Valuables worth Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh in cash have been reportedly stolen from a house in Fraser Town police station limits.
In his complaint, Dawood Sharief, a resident of M.M. Road, said he had kept the cash in a box-type cot and valuables in a steel cupboard.
When he returned home after a visit to Chikkaballapur, he found the valuables missing. But there were no signs of burglary. The Fraser Town Police have registered a case.
Robbed of valuables
An employee of a private firm was robbed of valuables worth Rs. 40,000 at knifepoint in Peenya police station limits on Wednesday night.
In his complaint to the police, Ram Prasad said two persons had threatened him when he was about to enter his house in T. Dasarahalli. They had taken away a bracelet, a gold chain and a mobile phone handset, he said. The Peenya Police have registered a case.
