SWR opens casualty complex

BANGALORE: Trilok Nath Perti, general manager, South Western Railway, inaugurated the newly built casualty complex in the Railway Central Hospital at Hubli on December 27. Engineers of Hubli Division completed the Rs. 65 lakh building within eight months, he said.

S. Balakrishna, SWR senior deputy general manager, Rakesh Vatash, divisional railway manager, Hubli, and K. Kondaiah, Chief Medical Director, were present on the occasion.

The new casualty complex has a six-bed intensive care unit, investigation labs, an operation theatre and facilities to attend to emergency cases.
