Mumbai: BCCI chief Sharad Pawar on Friday filed his nomination to become the next President of the International Cricket Council after all four Test playing nations of Asia reached a consensus to support his candidature at the Asian Cricket Council meeting in Singapore. "Mr. Sharad Pawar has filed his nomination for the next President of the International Cricket Council," BCCI Chief Administrative Officer, Ratnakar Shetty, said here. "All the Test playing nations in Asia India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have decided on the nomination of Mr. Pawar," Shetty said. BCCI is also expecting to garner support from the West Indies, its secretary Niranjan Shah had said earlier this month while disclosing that the Asian Test playing countries wanted Pawar to become the next ICC chief.
