For Vijayawada four more buses would be run in addition to the present three and for Ramachandrapuram and Amalapuram there would be three more services each in addition to the two regular services. He said the RTC is operating a bus every 20 minutes to Srikakulam now and it would be supplemented with five more buses during the festival season and more fleet would be added if the demand increased. Mr. Ramakanth pointed out that the RTC plied 35 special buses to various destinations from here during 2006 Sankranti. The corporation would ensure that the services in other routes are not affected due to deployment of special buses, he said adding that buses from other Divisions would be obtained if needeed.
