THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 34th sub-junior National and inter-State carrom championship will be held here from December 31 to January 5. Over 350 players in the age category of under-14 and under-12 and representing 24 States are expected to take part in the six-day event being hosted by the Kerala Carrom Association as part of its silver jubilee celebrations. The team events in the under-14 section would be conducted through the first three days and open events in the under-14 and under-12 sections from January 3. The rankings: Team championship: Boys: 1. Tamil Nadu, 2, Uttar Pradesh, 3. Hyderabad, 4. Bihar. Girls: 1.Uttar Pradesh, 2. Bihar, 3. Tamil Nadu, 4. Chandigarh. — Special Correspondent
