Impersonator arrested
Acting on a tip-off, accused Karya Nand Sharma was arrested when he was travelling in a bus on a fake Delhi Police identity card. During interrogation, the accused purportedly disclosed that he had been using the identity card for the past one year. He has been working as a security guard at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital her for the past few years. He found the identity card in a bus and replaced the photograph on it with his own, the police said.
Snatchers nabbed
According to the police, Priya Rajan reported that his mobile phone was stolen on Friday while he was standing in a queue at PVR Saket. Following the complaint, the recordings of the CCTV cameras were checked and the accused were arrested. During interrogation, the two allegedly confessed to their involvement in several cases of theft and pickpocketing.
BJP protest
Besides Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan, senior party leaders including Jagdish Mukhi, Pawan Sharma and Alok Kumar will also address the rally.
