Bangalore: A three-day "Leadership training seminar for visually impaired young persons from across South India" was inaugurated recently by Mahesh Joshi, Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore.

Mr. Joshi appreciated the work of Karnataka Welfare Association for the Blind and other organisations for organising the event.

Mr. Joshi said that Bangalore Doordarshan would henceforth have more programmes for the visually challenged.
