HASSAN: At a time when society is being divided in the name of caste and religion, the principle of "Vishwa Manava" (universal man) preached by Kuvempu has become relevant, said former District Judge and Karnataka Ekikarana award winner K. Chennabasappa. He was addressing a function to celebrate poet Kuvempu's birth centenary at the Kuvempu Pre-University College in Hassan on Friday.
