New chairman for KSINC

KOCHI: Rear Admiral (retd.) B.R. Menon has been appointed chairman of the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC). He was formerly the Chairman and Managing Director of Goa Shipyard.

This follows a reconstitution of the board of directors of the corporation. K.N. Satheesh will continue as the managing director.

The other members of the board are Jiji Thomson, Principal Secretary (Transport); P Kumari Geetha, Under Secretary (Finance) and Captain Paul M. Joseph, nominee of the Cochin Port Trust.

The other two nominees are from the Port Department and the Water Transport Department. - Staff Reporter
