BELGAUM: One person and a bull were killed on the spot and four others injured when a private bus hit a bullock cart near Itagi cross under Kittur Police station limits of Bailhongal taluk on Monday. According to sources, the bus from Mangalore to Belgaum hit the bullock cart killing Shankar Ramannavar (24) and one of the two bulls on the spot. Four others traveling in the bullock cart were injured, two of whom have been admitted to district hospital in the city. The Kakti police have registered a case.
