Locations for proposed ORR examined

Kurnool is junction for two National Highways and two State highways. A ring road will be imperative to save city from highway traffic.

KURNOOL: Kotla Jayasurya Prakasa Reddy, MP, Mayor S. Raghurami Reddy and Collector M. Dana Kishore accompanied by a group of officials examined the specific locations of the proposed Outer Ring Road around the city connecting Bellary Road, NH 7, NH 18, Kurnool-Guntur road, Gondiparla and Alampur roads on Sunday.

The team initially felt that the proposed road should take off at Safa Engineering College on the Nandyal-Kurnool road (NH 18) in both directions.
