KVB concession to senior citizens

CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank is offering 9.25 per cent on senior citizen deposits for a tenure of one year and above and inclusive of three years which is the highest in the industry. It has also launched a deposit, KVB 500, offering 9 per cent rate of interest for 500 days. The bank has increased the rate of interest on domestic term deposits by 50-75 basis points on various time buckets. It has hiked its BPLR to 13.25 per cent from 12.5 per cent, says a release.
