Army assures action

NEW DELHI : The Army has assured action against soldiers for allegedly ransacking a Kolkata police station after two of their colleagues were arrested on charges of eve teasing.

"The Army has taken a serious note of the incident and would take appropriate action against the personnel," official sources said here.

According to the West Bengal Police, jawans ransacked the police station, beat up some police personnel and took away the two arrested soldiers from police custody.
