PATHANAMTHITTA: Transport Minister Mathew T. Thomas has called upon the youth to fight against exploitation and strive hard to ensure social justice in a secular, democratic set-up. The Minister was inaugurating the valedictory meet of the year-long diamond jubilee celebrations of the Church of South India (CSI) Youth Movement attached to the St. Stephen's CSI Church in Mundiyappally on Sunday. He lauded the contributions of the Church for the socio-economic and educational uplift of the downtrodden sections of the society. Dr. Joseph Mar Iraeneus Suffragan Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar delivered the keynote address. Bishop Thomas Samuel presided over the meeting held at the CSI Parish Hall. A procession was also held from the CMS High School junction to the meeting venue, earlier. Joseph M. Puthusserry, MLA, released the jubilee souvenir on the occasion.
