CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharambir Singh said on Monday that the State Government had declared more than 500 villages as model villages and adequate funds would be released to improve health, educational and sports facilities there.
Schemes
Speaking after watching friendly kabaddi matches between the teams of Punjab and Haryana in Bhiwani, he reiterated that the Bhupinder Singh Hooda Government had implemented several schemes for the welfare of all sections of society.
Sports
Various steps were being taken to promote sports to channel the energies of the youth, he added. Bhiwani Deputy Commissioner Mohinder Kumar flagged off a rally to promote public awareness about female foeticide.
