: The first few years of education play a crucial role in a child's life and development. Tamil Nadu Forces, a voluntary organisation, has recently brought out a book that guides pre-school teachers to impart a holistic education to children.
Based on the curriculum framed by the National Council for Education and Research Training, the book on `An Early Childhood Curriculum for the Young Child' (3-5 years) insists on the activity and play-based curriculum for a holistic growth including emotional, linguistic and social development.
