Vasavi Club Vanitha (Bhavanipuram) president C Indira said the club would organise a seminar on capital punishment on January 7 at Vasavi Kalyana mandapam at Bhavanipuram. She said lawyers, scholars and journalists would participate in the seminar.

CDs on `Vaasthu'

Both Telugu and English version of Gouru Tirupathi Reddy's compact discs on Vaasthu Prapancham will be released on Vijayawada Book Festival premises at Swaraj Maidan on Jan 2, said New Students Book Centre proprietor U. Babuji.

Crafts bazaar

Maa Taradevi stone & wood manufacturing unit is organising an Orissa crafts bazaar at Madhu Kalyanamandapam from Jan 1 to 12, said organiser Durga Prasad Mishra. Ms Vidya Kanna, director, Jana Sikshana Sansthan, inaugurated the expo.
