Awareness campaign

Minister for Health, Medical and Family Welfare K. Rosaiah on Sunday inaugurated an eye donation awareness campaign taken up by Nava Bharath Nirman Sangham (NBNS) by releasing stickers quoting `Donate your eyes live after life'.

In a press release, NBNS president S. Ravi Kumar said over 60,000 such stickers would be pasted in parts of the twin cities to bring about awareness among public. People interested can contact: 93999-47101.

NGC action plan diary released

Minister for Environment and Forests S. Vijaya Rama Raju here on Sunday released Andhra Pradesh National Green Corps (APNGC) action plan diary, which highlights various activities taken up by the APNGC in the twin cities.

According to a press release from APNGC here on Sunday, Mr. Raju said that students have an important role in improving environment and teachers have to play a vital role in encouraging students to do so.
