Board welcomes Minister's decision

BANGALORE: The Kannada Implementation Board has welcomed the decision of the Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Basavaraj Horatti to go ahead with derecogniton of 2,111 private schools.

Donations

In a statement here on Sunday, a spokesman for the board said the private schools were extracting more donation from parents by teaching in English though they were started under the condition that they should have Kannada as the medium of instruction.

Arrangements

The board has sought alternative arrangements to students in these schools from the next academic year.
